In the era where technology is seeking new comforts for users; is it worthwhile to design a product without keeping in mind user’s acceptance? Is the poorly designed interface a cause why so many products are never been used? Will the poorly designed products have any future?

Design is all about enhancing the way people work and communicate. Designing interactive products requires considering who and how user will be going to use it. Now think… how many interactive products do we use in a day? Mobile Phone, Microwave, Car, ATM, Television etc. and how many products do you like to use which are hard to understand? Now this is where an Interaction Designer’s role starts. Designer needs to have an understanding of their business and the requirements of their customers.

According to a research we have only 30seconds of a user which actually plays important role taking a decision whether to go ahead or not. If we get success utilizing those 30 seconds, we will end-up with better business/user base.

Interaction Designers create usable products and services based on the:

  • Understanding of real users- and their goals
  • Knowledge
  • User Expectations and Frustrations
  • User Capabilities etc.
